In February we told you that the federal government’s fiscal year begins October 1, giving Congress eight full months to write, read, and pass the bills needed to fund government departments.
It’s almost September, and not ONE appropriations bill has passed. It’s probable that NONE will pass on time. And it’s a certainty that no member of Congress will read any of them.
This is just the latest evidence that Congress is broken. Fundamental change is needed.

How can you be trusted to regulate me, when you can’t even regulate yourselves? This year proved that Congress is broken.

Yet somehow the House found time to pass 261 bills this year, and the Senate passed 137. That’s not counting the dozens of resolutions both chambers passed. You passed everything EXCEPT the bills that keep the government running, which should be your top priority!
* I know these departmental funding bills, totaling some $3.8 trillion won’t pass on time
* I know that when you do finally pass them, you won’t have read them
* Which means you won’t even know how you spent MY money
* And the bills will be full of secret deals, corruption, and waste
I am thoroughly disgusted and out of patience. A real, working Congress would make the budget a top priority at the beginning of each year. I insist you do one thing to fix yourself. With tonight’s temperatures here in south Florida going into the mid 30’s it is safe to say that global warming without any doubts is the biggest CON of man EVER in the sense that carbon dioxide, the thing that we exhale is causing the planet to cool or get hotter.  What they do not tell you in all of these environmental groups is that the sun is the most important factor in the climate of our earth.  Right this minute we have the least amount of sun spots on the sun in over 10 years and no sun spots.  The idea of capping emissions is an idea brought about by the watermelons.  For those who do not know watermelon  is a term for the environmental movement leaders now, Red on the inside and Green on the outside.  The goal of the cap and trade system is a communist program of spreading the wealth from countries who expel CO2 to ones that expel more.  Countries like Russia, China, and the USA all would have to pay money into the carbon offest to offset their productivity and their economic prowess.  The cap and trade scam is to penalize developed countries so other ones can get money.  It is a handicap system.  Think of it as a track race but some of the fastest racers have weights on to limit their acceleration.  They will ultimately lose.  From the movie war games “the only way to win, is not to play.
