The Bill of Rights
The Constitution for lack of a better term is the holy scripture of the United States of America. It is the 10 commandments of the faith, that faith being American. No dashes or hyphens needed to explain who we are. The Bill of rights, is the creed that we judge and should judge and lead our lives.
1:Freedom to express, freedom to question the government, every religion welcomed
2:The Right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed
3:no soldier in peace time is allowed to be quartered in any house without permission from owner.
4:The right for the security of yourself, your house, papers, and property from unreasonable searches and seizures. Warrants will only be warranted on probable cause.
5:No one can be a witness against themselves, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury,except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual time of war or public danger; or put in double jeopardy. Nor shall private property be taken away for public use, without just compensation.
6:In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.
7: In cases where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, then according to the rules of common law
8: Excessive bail shall not be required nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
9: The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights,shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
10: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the State’s, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
This bill of rights sets forth the knowledge that we as a free people are entitled to. The tyranny of despotic regimes knows nothing of freedom. Whether it be the Communist’s utopia, or the fascist’s Reich, they have 2 things in common; they are Un-American and they go against the individual’s freedom.
WE THE PEOPLE means not just the elitists in their backrooms making deals to take our freedom away, but also the politicians who do what they want and not what we the people sent them to do.
What is the point of this article?
It sounds like you are saying that we should include the politicians in “we the people”.
They should remember who they work for. They do not represent us they represent their friends and special interests.
